Due Diligence is a service to investigate or exercise care for clients. This includes due diligence on trades persons or companies you are looking to engage for work and for prospective employers of staff. Due Diligence is a reasonable check that is taken before entering into an agreement with another party or new employee.
We have an agreement and are authorised by the Ministry of Justice to carry out Criminal History Conviction checks and, this is combined with a driver's licence status and traffic conviction check. It is important as part of a full due diligence process to check references, call past employers and carry out a general check both digitally and personally.
This is a non-intrusive process for all persons and is done confidentially and online, with results, under normal circumstances back in 5 working days. We have options available for clients. A) A standard check, B) A standard check with a credit check for persons in a financial role C) single criminal history convictions check and D) a check formulated for the engagement of trades persons/companies or any business/financial agreements/investments you are considering.
The process - A) contact us via the below form B) fill out a e-sign client form C) receive and pay the invoice D) third party authority documents are emailed straight to the candidate to complete if required E) we request the information or carry out due diligence checks F) we supply you with a report once the information is received back.
It is important to note that, all persons/companies have the right pursuant to Principle 6 of the 2020 Privacy Act to request the information and a copy of the report that is provided to our client. Payment of the invoice means the client agrees to I-On Investigations privacy policy and investigations terms.
